BLEACH film - Diamond Dust Rebellion

I have two major points to make about this film:
  1. What is it with the makers of BLEACH films and the villain creating a big fuck-off-and-don't-pay-the-milkman tree at the end? Surely that points to an obsession on the part of the people thinking up this shit?
  2. I have realised that the sole purpose of every film and arc is to do as much damage to Soul Society as possible both material and moral. In every filler and every film Soul Society is worse than all the killers, rapists and baby-eaters put together. I mean, I can still understand that the poorer areas are full of people, who are only glad at the physical damage because it creates extra employment, but who is going to repair the reputation of the Seireitei?

Not bad, the animation seemed good, but they went over the top again though. Why is it that in these movies they put as many people in as possible? Surely that's stretching a civilian

BLEACh chapter 225

I don't know what Kubo Tite is trying to do to me but am all girly and exited to find out.
I love the last chapter because I'm getting the feeling that Yumichika is going to break and run off to help Ikkaku and save him (and show off his zanpaktou to everyone).
Ikkaku will be grumpy but alive and there will be much rejoicing and eating of lambs and cereal and fruitbats :D

I love BLEACH and true love lastts a life time or at least for a month or three

Aoi Destruction

An adorable manga. Consists of four short stories. A bit sad that the first story doesn't seem to be continued anywhere... it's so good... T_T

One pice chapter 512

I read the latest chapter and squeed in a loud and shameful voice. I know Oda's work tends to be very crowded as opposed to say Tite's, but I still love him. I WANT, I NEED, I SHAKE for anime to get there faster.

Under the Moon

I started playing it and... well... it's awful. Not to put a too fain a point to it but it's porn with bad art. I mean it looks all shiny but even if you ignore the girl's enormous tits (which is hard because they are bigger then the rest of her) you still get bad angles and something that reminds me of leftovers. The story isn't there so I won't comment on it.
Maybe it's because I played a lot of otome games lately, maybe because before that I had finished Love Drops and attempted to play an eroge game that had really nice watercolour-ish style to it. Whatever the reason may be I am in no mood to forgive this game anything.

rating: 2 (because am basically a kind person and I like the noses on some of the men)

I think I'll just go and watch M¤A¤S¤H or Hotaru no hikari, both are gold and can do wonders for morale

Love Drops

Love☆Drops 〜みらくる同居物語〜

I just finished playing the ending where Hugo doesn't get you even though you went to the party with him... 0_o Kanade shot Hugo, which was OK since the poor boy was going all "I must seek BLOOOOD" but then he shot himself? And right before he did he said that the heroine shouldn't forget him. Well yes, now we will all need a lot of money and therapy to stop twitching (Of course seeing as how this is an otome game then it's quite possible that the girl will get over it fairly quickly. These types usually do). Still, fairly morbid and unexpected even thought it came from an obviously emo character

Heart no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Wonder World~

ハートの国のアリス ~Wonderful Wonder World~

o_0 an incredibly addictive game and damn hard to find your way through. Been playing it for several days straight with no luck of finishing a single ending... I love the graphics, but only as long as they aren't CGs (because those look crap). The character design is great, the March Hare and the Cheshire Cat look great, so does the White Rabbit.
As always the game has little to do with the book, but it's none the worse for it. The cast alone is rather mind boggling: Fukuyama Jun, Sugiyama Noriaki, Konishi Katsuyuki, Koyasu Takehito [actually, why are they all from BLEACH?!] . The girl (you, me, us) still doesn't have a voice, which I find annoying since can't understand half of the things she says.
Oh well, read on Macbeth, pretty soon I'm going to be in a state where I'll be having Alice themed hallucinations (which always sound promising) and STILL wouldn't have had any luck with Eliot the March Hare. Fuck

Butlers ~Meshimase Ojousama~

バトラズ ~召しませお嬢様~

Overall: 7

You are a simple OL, who one day is abducted my two young men. They bring you to a mansion and tell you that you are the granddaughter of a rich and powerful man, who though disowned his daughter (your mother) still loves her (even though she died many many years ago). So the servants decided to find you and arrange a family reunion.

Bad points:
  • The art was pretty bad when most of the CGs were concerned, especially the ero ones. The style was pretty much the same as in Brothers, but they kept trying to hide the girl's face. Not to mention that half of the time I kept looking in horror at either her boobs or the mans face.
  • I didn't like all the voices. I'm just picky, I thought that Shido the womanizer ought to have had a better voice or at least one that didn't sound like he was either having serious problems in his colon or just a seriously blocked nostril. The grandfather could have done a better job too.
  • I loved the youngest boy, but I really couldn't believe that he was 21. from the voice and the way he acted you thought that he was something like 17, but that's just me, as always.
  • Also the lack of the 'Skip' button annoyed to no end

Good points:
  • Quite a few times during the game I started laughing out loud because the characters and situations were adorable.
  • Despite the negative review from everyone else I LIKED the fact that it was easy to find the man because with Brothers you needed a lot of time and patience or a walkthrough to get all the events. Even though it made me feel that I just kept stalking the guy I still liked this way more.
  • Ichijou Kazuya! I can't help it. I like his voice and can now recognize him easily by the way he keeps making weird noises and sucking in air between words. The fact that he did a lovely accent in this game gave me an even bigger kick.
  • I've finally fallen in love with Tiaramode. They keep making stranger characters. While in their later game they made a perfect and charming model who can't use anything but spoons, this time they had an emo character who grows mariomo! (And names them Charles and Elizabeth, because he was supposed to be English. The fact that Japanese aren't good at faking English accents is going to be ignored for now)

Overall I enjoyed this. I'm now sorry that I didn't play this first and Brothers second because then I would have liked Brothers even more. But now I understand that the people at Tiaramode are into really kinky things. In this game they didn't have a rape route but the Night Mode disc enabled you to play the...ahem...darker side. Apart from two, they all ended up with the girl doing serious femdom, I'm not even sure that one of them enjoyed it. With Shido there was a threesome where she still managed to have the head butler as her slave.
Interesting note is that Ichijou Kazuya plays AGAIN a person who is a bit of a sexfiend. After all, she couldn't dominate him, quite the opposite (HA!)

pleasant thoughts

BLEACH chapter 319

I love Kubo Taito. This chapter gave me a rush, AGAIN!
I can't wait for the anime to catch up so as I could hear Fukuyama Jun doing what he does best and also there will be lovely Kira. I used to dislike Kira quite a bit, but I started liking him at some point. Now I'm all into the weird passive and depressed face and of course his CV has a special place for me after Mononoke
Oooh, this is going to be fun.

am happy

Step~futari no kankei ha ippozutsu~

Step~二人の関係は一歩ずつ~

overall:5

Story:
Well it's like this, you once used to live in this town and now came to visit your uncle. Why, I have no idea. You meet with your uncle (who likes to sleep naked and never shaves properly), two childhood friends (of which one is of the male persuasion so you only get to sex him up), a tsundere boy who sits next to you in class and an otaku (who keeps talking to himself and mostly about slightly perverted things, so that's scary enough)

Bad points:
  • the drawings weren't the kind I'm really into. The faces were right off and the boobs during most of the H-scenes looked both painful and ridiculous.
  • Somehow the story did really work for me, but then again I'm not really into school romance.

Good points:
  • Nicely made characters: the childhood friend with the superbrain and the scary glasses ended up crying on your lap half of the time, the tsundere boy wasn't as annoying as one might expect and the uncle of the compulsory incest ending was voiced by Ichijou Kazuya, who played Kageyama Satofumi in Brothers
  • They had a Densha Otoko scenario! ¤dies happy¤

happy thoughts,
will go and hunt for more games with Ichijou Kazuya
(wouldn't actually say no to any with Takatori Rei in them either, but just can't get any TT_TT)

Hotaru no Hikari

Started watching. Well, I watched 3 episodes so drama-wise I'm pretty far. So cute and implausible, which is why I love it. Somehow really cute and childish Japanese office ladies remind me of both me and Bridget Jones, so link there.
Haven't seen any bad points yet, but there are plenty of good ones. One is Kazuki, who though still is kinda bad at acting at least brightens up my day by being good looking and also I didn't recognize him compared to Jigoku Shoujo, so maybe he's not that bad. The second is the manager, Takano
something whose actor I don't know and never will, who looks good and acts good [Love the lovely coldblooded and bossy male characters] Also something I haven't seen before - the people at the office have a life! I'm new to dramas but still, this is not something people usually bother to bring out because they are usually sort on time and I can understand them comepletely on that point.
Am enjoying myself :D

Zettai Kareshi

overall: 7

well, the age of the heroine changed and so did her overall attitude towards Night (who was though cute, still lacked the sexy looks I was hoping for). Most of the time the drama was... goofy is the only way of putting it, but then again I suppose I'm just into that type of thing. Although the guy who played Gaku was nice and all, but I was really looking forward to hearing a Japaneses man speaking Spanish at random intervals. Oh well.

P.S: At the last two episodes I cried like crazy, especially the one before the last. Rivers ran from my room and small villages settled on their banks.

Brothers ~ koisuru oniisama ~

original name: Brothers~恋するお兄さま~
rating: 8

This is my first time playing a game that has sex with women and is designed for women. Anyway the story goes as follows: your mother has a boyfriend who, though look like Urahara Kisuke from Bleach, is a writer with a large amount of children (All sons mind you, which says quite a lot about his hormonal levels). Anyway, the decide to marry and so you move into his huge house, but right after you move the happy couple says they have to bugger off somewhere else (your mom has to visit your grandmother who's ill or something and the soon-to-be-father has to go away doe to some sort of work issues). You are left for a week in a house full of grown up but, in my eyes, slightly hormonally imbalanced males.

The bit before the couple marries and you have to spend a week with the guys is called Prelude. After the wedding if everything is going well then the part is called Suite, if it's not a True Love ending then it's always saved under the name Rhapsody (how do rhapsodies associate with rape? O_0)

This game has two major problems in my eyes:
  1. The artist who did the drawings apparently went to work with a hangover half the time. In most pictures the heroine's face and head did not cooperate, her chin was all over the place. (also the interesting fact is that though the men frequently change clothes, you just run around in the same outfit in any weather and you always have the same pants on)
  1. A LOT of rape goes on in this game. In most cases the rape happens once and then you for no reason whatsoever just run again to the person who raped you giving him an opportunity to do it again, which he does).
Actually on the note of sex two things have to be said: I'm happy that they mentioned condoms, even if it was only two and a half times (I'm not sure about the last one, because the guy did really say it out loud but I got the impression that he used it anyway). I'm not happy about the fact that one out of every two porn scenes the girl was twisted into a weird position. I mean, I'm more flexible than the average lunatic but my legs can't turn that way o_o

On the positive side, I liked one story very much. Even the Rhapsody bit. The story being of the "secret" character Kageyama, who's does EVERYTHING around the house. He's not much of a secret character because he's always there, but you have to play through the game once to be able to chat him up (and eventually have sex with him) and it was a bit hard finding him because half of the game you can't even go to his room or anything.

Brothers ~ koisuru oniisama ~

I just started playing and am getting the feeling that Morikubo Shoutarou and Okiayu Ryoutarou are both in it.
Not to mention that the Father looks like Urahara Kisuke to me.
Oh my, this WILL be fun

EDIT: I was so wrong. But the eldest brother still does sound like Okiayu Ryoutaro so I'll just pretend it's him =P

Zettai Fukuju Merei

Absolute Obedience

I'm playing it through for the first time in a long while and I only got as far as two missions, both with Louise, and it struck me for the first time that this game is a bloody SM parade. I have no idea how this escaped me the first time, maybe I was too concerned with turning the volume down so as not to scare the neighbors with men crying in effeminate voices . Anyway, I went into the doctor story and now am playing through Lawless and the game is starting to unsettle me.
Being slightly of a masochistic persuasion this turn of things promises to be fun :D

lupin III: Green vs Red

overall: 10 (would put more but am trying to create a scale)
Sadly I understood only half of the story, but it was brilliant. I actually felt a rush and half of the time I was giggling like the little girl that I am.
No great organization or killers to go against this time, but lots and lots of Lupins running about the place. i like how the story was focused not on the gang but on the impostors.
Bags of eye candy for all Lupin-lovers, especially with a little R-33 license plate at the bottom of the river in the beginning.
now have to find a review to understand how exactly it ended, since can't make heads or tails and it's eating me alive.
Am happy, happy, love, love

Mushishi

Finished watching Mushishi and discovered that it's rather OK. I was led into it with wrong expectations, but when I got into the swing of it the the slow pace and Ginko saying "The cause is Mushi," became quite close to my little yaoi-loving heart. At least it didn't really have much of a point, which is very nice. It led from nowhere and into nowhere.
The style is alright apart from the rare comedic faces they try to put on, which just don't fit anything.
overall: 9

xxxHoLic Kei

Have seen 5 episodes, am thrilled.
The music is even better, Watanuki and Doumeki even slashier and the animation top notch!
Am happy about being in a tent

Mushishi

Watched three episodes, somehow doesn't seem to work for me. I think it was meant as a horror series, judging from the sparse dialog and the really quiet music.
The story is similar to Mononoke, but since has no distinct visual style and actual horror then it ends up being a bit boring. Oh well, will push on.

Cowboy Bebop

Watched the first episode of Cowboy Bebop.
it's everything I thought it might be. Pure Lupin, but set in the future and has even more jazz. The art style in nice, the music great. Will have to see and decide what to make of it

xxxHoLic Kei

Oh, lovely, lovely!
Second season of xxxHoLic. The opening theme is catchy and Jun still rocks my various bits of clothing. Am recognizing more and more seiyuu's :D

Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

If Harms ever got into anime this is what he might have created. Sayonara Setsubou Sensei and it's second series, Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, have descended from absurd heaven. The style is marvelous, the animation good, the language-based humour marvelous. I also like the fact that basically, I can take any episode and will get just as an enjoying experience because this series has no actual plot. Somehow it's refreshing.
Overall: 10

Moyashimon

Got as far as ep 6, love it! Educational, silly, has good actors and an addictive opening theme.
Not very typical since has no actual couples, which is good news for all shippers. Am desperately trying to see as much slash as possible between Sawaki and Kei. Am getting hints, but very vague ones. Want more

A Bit Of Fry And Laurie

Am in the middle of series 2, they are lovely, they are wonderful. I love Hugh and I love Stephen, something about brits being silly that makes me go all gooey.
Hugh and his songs are the best

Jigoku Shoujo 3?

I just heard a rumor that there will be a third season, I practically wet myself out of happiness. Also am on the lookout for any other creepy series. Have no more hangover. Am happy.

Lupin III: Kiri no Elusive

Overall rating:7
The story is weak. Really, really weak, but the animation and the feeling of the movie as a whole is so nostalgic. This is the first time I noticed that they returned to the drawing style of the first series, which I will forever hold as the original. It was also somehow similar to Castle of Caligostro, right down to the original little Beetle and a cameo by Clarissa (granted, she was merely a sign on a truck that drove by, but it's the thought that matters). The expressions, the way they grinned at one another and a silly moment by Goemon were all so similar to those I saw in the first series and in Miyazaki's work. Not to mention the opening and ending sequence and the song, which they took from the first series.
The humor was also something out of the 70's, especially the moment in the boat where the small boy asks Lupin, Jigen and Goemon their names, while referring to them as 'old men' at which Lupin and Jigen do a comical moment announcing themselves in funny voices as "Old Man number one - Lupin!" and "Old Man number two - Jigen!" unconsciously pushing Goemon to keep up with the act and him saying "Old Man number three-"before remembering himself and just saying "Ishikawa Goemon" in an unnecessarily low tone.
It was nice, something for a person, who misses the sweet charm of Castle of Caligostro, but doesn't have too high expectations. This is something light with animation that quite good.

Naruto Shippuden ep 42

I seem to enjoy the anime less and less, were it not for the seductive seme'ness of Kabuto I would stop. That and the recent background music are holding me on a leash. It just seemes so slow and they keep using more and more CG. I would prefer bad hand animation to mid core CG.
Feeling sad, after all I used to have such a connection to this anime.
